We want to continuously improve. In project management, securing financial resources, and for example, PR. Our new project therefore has a simple goal: to strengthen the expertise of our employees through various training sessions and workshops, making their work as efficient as possible. In addition to staff training, we will also focus on developing the Slovo 21 brand.

What is Capacity Building?

It is a process where an organisation works continuously to improve staff skills and strengthen resources to better achieve its goals. In our case, to help the Roma minority integrate more effectively into the majority society.

Why Do We Need Capacity Building?

We want to keep improving. Additionally, we aim to make our organization more attractive to commercial partners and private donors who could financially support us. At the moment, we are too dependent on subsidies and grants (more than 95% of our projects), which can threaten our stability and our ability to create new programmes for the Roma community.

Staff will be trained in the following areas, among others:

  • Fundraising
  • Social media management
  • Media communication
  • Burnout prevention
  • Time management 

The following strategic documents will also be produced:

  •  Organization Funding Analysis
  •  Fundraising Strategy
  •  Brand Guidelines (visual identity of the organization)
  •  Communication Strategy
  •  Employee Development Strategy
