Although the number of temporary protection holders from Ukraine who canspeak Czech is increasing in the Czech Republic, 20% of them still do not speak the language at all. This alarming figure is a challenge for both the Ukrainian community and Czech society.

Since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, we have been dedicated not only to direct aid to refugees, but together with researchers from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Charles University, we have been investigating what life is like for war refugees in the Czech Republic.

After All, We Are Neighbors: This Year for the Sixth Time, and Right in the Middle of a Thunderstorm
It's already a tradition. At the end of June, we always meet in Na Pankráci Park at Café Na půl cesty, for a wonderful multicultural evening of music, dance, theatre and exotic food. This time a wild storm threw a wrench into the whole program, and everything went differently than it should have.
